This beautiful corner apartment at Towers on the Park has a large living/dining room overlooking Central Park with 270 degree views East, South and West. Even the kitchen has a window looking out onto the Park. The bedroom window looks East over Central Park and the bedroom is large enough for a king-sized bed. Located in a three building condominium called Towers on the Park, this convenient one bedroom home has access to freshly re-done laundry rooms with brand new-washers and dryers on card-access. There is a lovely, spacious garden just for the building. planted with seasonal flowers and furnished with chairs and tables with umbrellas for outdoor dining or reading. Each building in the complex has its own 24-hour front desk where the concierge opens the door with the touch of a button. The condominium is sandwiched between Central Park and Morning Park. There is a Farmer's Market on the corner of Morningside Park every Saturday as well as a full grocery store the building along with Cafe Amrita, the local coffee to late-night drinks as well as brunch and Friday Karaoke lounge. A dry-cleaner, bike shop, nail salon, liquor shop and State Farm insurance office round out the retail spaces in the complex while a convenience store that is open late and a Mediterranean cafe have just opened in adjoining buildings. Both Central Park and Morningside Park have playgrounds and there will be a brand you swimming and ice-skating facility towards the North End of Central Park by the Harlem Meer and the Conservatory Gardens. Having access to some the greatest parks at one's doorstep is quite a luxury along with plenty of restaurants, cafes and specialty shopping with in a few minutes is quite a convenience. There is also a plethora of transportation options. Being right on Central Park and having a Subway line downstairs is nice. The B and C trains run local and the A turns into a local late at night. There are five buses including the M3 and M4 with go down Fifth Avenue to Penn Station. The M4 goes up Broadway past Columbia University to the Cloisters (a branch of the Metropolitan Museum of Art) and the M3 goes up Manhattan Avenue. The M7 also runs up Sixth Avenue in the Village and stops behind the building on Manhattan Avenue and 110th Street while the M116 goes all the way to Costco on the East River. There are also plenty of taxi cabs and CitiBike stands.
