Built end of the 1950s, the apartment offers much more space and openness than others on Capitol Hill (22 feet wide). Large slider windows bring in plenty of light and views are into green trees. Resident is responsible for electric, gas, telecommunications and a water usage charge. Pets allowed on a case by case basis with pet screening, pet addendum and $350 fee per animal. Three units total in the building. Nice small community feeling and sharing of common spaces. Front yard and rear patio area for hanging out, grilling, and gardening if you wish. Space in rear for exterior storage if needed. (motorcycle etc.) Building is under rent control so annual increases are regulated. This location has a Walk Score of 77 out of 100. This location is Very Walkable so most errands can be accomplished on foot. It is a nine minute walk to the Metrorail station at Stadium Armory or Potomac Ave (Blue/Orange/Silver lines). Easy car access to 295/395/695 and East Capitol St. Major bus lines right on the corner of 17th St SE. This location is in the Capitol Hill neighborhood in Washington D.C..
