Real Estate Agent - Apartment Rentals NYC

We are looking for an experienced, licensed real estate agent to join our Apartment Rental Team in New York City. You will help our online renters navigate the apartment search process— helping them research, tour and apply to apartments. In addition, you will collaborate closely with the broader ApartmentAdvisor team to help to develop and evolve our operations as we scale the business.

Please note, if you are not a currently licensed Real Estate Agent in the State of New York, you will not be considered for this position.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with qualified, inbound clients to help them find their next rental apartment in NYC.
  • Meet prospective renters for apartment showings.
  • Assist renters with their application submission via our online process and help to facilitate the lease signing.
  • Build trusted relationships with property managers and renters.
  • Provide high level reports on the status of our rental applicants to internal stakeholders.
  • Share renter and property feedback with the team so we can continue to build a great offering.

Who you are:

  • You are currently licensed as a real estate agent in the state of New York with a track record of success helping renters find and lease apartments in New York City.
  • You are flexible to work weekends and outside normal business hours to accommodate times that clients are looking to tour.
  • You love technology and are committed to finding new ways to improve old methods.
  • You’re a highly motivated self-starter and love taking on new projects – you have the ability and the mindset to “get stuff done.”
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to connect with a wide variety of people.
  • You’re organized and detail oriented, and you can handle multiple tasks at the same time.
  • You can recognize problems and can work autonomously to troubleshoot and resolve them.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
